Job summary

Simplify Healthcare is seeking an experienced cloud Azure .NET Architect who will own the application, architect, build, and maintain it. The role combines hands-on senior IC work with team management and mentoring, while designing, managing, and optimizing Azure infrastructure.

You will collaborate with design, backend, and business teams to build a scalable platform that fulfills business requirements, enforce architectural standards, and guide operations through the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of total experience.
• Minimum 6 years leading teams.
• Experience architecting Microsoft-centric Azure solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Knowledge of cloud security controls (encryption, key management, SIEM).
• Experience with multi-tier enterprise systems and scalable architectures.
• Hands-on with configuring observability and monitoring in the cloud.

Role:

We are looking for an experienced cloud Azure .Net Architect, who will take ownership of application and is responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining it. Candidate will design, manage, maintain optimize Azure infrastructure. This is Combination of Hands-on Senior Individual Contributor role with Team management and mentoring.

This role also requires having a product mindset where you will be working with various stakeholders across design, backend, and business to build a scalable platform that fulfills business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Be able to provide technical direction and lead a group of one or more architects to address a goal.
• Architect and design solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create and review architecture and solution design artifacts.
• Enforce adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.
• Proactively provide guidance on engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices.
• Guidance of engineering staff and reviews of as-built configurations during the construction phase.
• Provide insight and direction on roles and responsibilities required for solution operations.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions throughout the full lifecycle.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze and operate at various levels of abstraction.
• Leadership skills are able to inspire others and persuade.
• Excellent technical architecture skills, enabling the creation of future-proof solutions.

Required Skills:

• Total experience 12+ years.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in leading teams.
• Bachelors/masters Degree or equivalency (CS, CE, or engineering discipline).
• Bachelors / masters Degree or equivalency (CS, CE, or engineering discipline)
• Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions for Microsoft-centric solutions based on industry standards using Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS capabilities.
• Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
• Experience with multi-tier systems and service design and development for large enterprises.
• Extensive, real-world experience designing technology components for enterprise solutions and defining solution architectures and reference architectures with a focus on cloud technologies.
• Experience in developing highly scalable solutions to address application performance issues.
• Should have hands on experience in configuring AUTO-SCALLING in Azure.
• Should know how to configure observability in the cloud hosted applications.
• Should know how follow 12 factor principles while developing apps.
• Should know how deploy Microservices in Azure Cloud.
• Should have configured Authentication using Azure AD.
• Should have hands-on experience in setting up Alert and creating custom dashboards for resource monitoring.
• Should have hands-on into AKS , VNET , Redis Cache , Application Insight, Azure serverless components, Azure PaaS services , Azure SQL , Security , Application Gateway.
• Should have used Azure Architectural Patterns in at least 2 project.
• Should have hands on experience of migrating at least 2 projects to Azure Cloud PaaS services from On-Premises.
• Should have hands on in Setting CI\CD pipelines.
• Should have hands on experience in setting up Architectural Governance.
