Job description

You will be responsible for:

1. Collaborating with internal and external technical teams
2. Translating design requirements and designing test scope
3. Designing and implementing automated solutions for tasks like building, testing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure
4. Maintaining and optimizing cloud infrastructure
5. Monitoring performance, diagnosing errors, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary changes to optimize system performance
6. Developing or modifying code to automate tasks or meet business requirements
7. Analyzing operations and developing new solutions for improving efficiency
8. Managing complex cloud environments, including security and compliance measures for protecting data
9. Creating different scripts for automating repetitive tasks
10. Monitoring system performance, conducting capacity planning, and providing recommendations to improve service levels
11. Setting up and managing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the software release process

Required education:

Bachelor's Degree

Preferred education:

Master's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise:

1. Understanding of enterprise microservices architectures and implementations
2. Excellent troubleshooting, follow-through, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
3. Experience in installing and deploying solutions to Kubernetes (OpenShift preferred)
4. Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and projects simultaneously
5. Knowledge of hybrid-cloud software implementations, SaaS / IaaS / PaaS, and cloud applications
6. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
7. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash), automation tools (Terraform, Ansible), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
8. Hands-on experience in Linux package porting, container technologies, Kubernetes, Docker, virtualization management, REST API, catalog services, microservices, DevOps CI/CD Jenkins, Travis skills
9. Experience with Python/Java/C programming
10. Knowledge of observability solutions and tools
11. Cloud-native development and deployment
12. Hands-on with technology and able to create demo assets and showcase to customers, conduct PoCs, run enablement sessions
13. Ability to interlock, understand, and engage with various stakeholders and communicate status
14. Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
15. Writing and executing unit, functional, and integration test cases

1. Python Expert
2. Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins skills
3. Selenium, Python, Java
4. Exposure to source code management tools
5. Exposure to porting of packages
6. Z Systems experience and exposure to catalog services, microservices
