Job summary

Cloud 9 Infosystems seeks a seasoned cloud architect/consultant to drive Azure adoption, guide migration and establish architectural best practices for enterprise clients.

The role requires deep Azure/AWS skills, customer-facing presales experience, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable cloud solutions. Based in Mumbai, you will collaborate with engineering and support teams to ensure successful deployments.

• Deliver training sessions to customers considering or using Azure.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and service teams; document cloud architectures.

The Ideal Candidate Will Need To Demonstrate

• Deep technical skill in infrastructure, software architecture and cloud computing
• Customer-facing skills, ideally gained in presales or consultancy roles, allowing them to represent Azure cloud to customers.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about solutions to business, product, and technical challenges.
• Awareness of technology trends and how they impact the way businesses consume IT

Key Responsibilities

• Support the business development team to help formulate a strategy to help the adoption of Azure, within the focus industry verticals.
• Guide customers to ensure success in building and migrating applications, software, and services following the principles of the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
• Help educate enterprise customers on the value proposition of Azure and AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.

Help provide one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using Azure.

• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support. Design enterprise cloud technical strategy
• Define and document cloud solution architecture(s), including technical designs and diagrams. Design and deploy
• Build and deploy production systems in Azure, Design cloud network connectivity architecture

and also handling a team of 4-5 cloud consultants.

Technical Knowledge

• Good experience on Azure Infra level.
• Basic experience configuring and deploying applications in Amazon Cloud using features such as: ElastiCache, Redshift, Lambda, API Gateway
• Experience with Amazon APIs for integration
• Experience with IAAS, PAAS, and SAAS services.
• Good experience in CAF and Azure Architected frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience implementing Azure, including Azure and AWS services.
• Strong knowledge of leading-edge technologies, tools, and software & services vendors
• 7+ years of proven consulting experience
• Extensive work experience in a client delivery role with direct client interaction
• Good experience on Azure Infra level.
• Good experience in designing architecture and architecture diagrams.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology.
