Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for Real Estate FA, Real Estate Technology, and Fund Implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve business user requests in Yardi.
• Lead scoping with internal accounting for new entity setup.
• Coordinate with Real Estate accounting to standardize best practices across Fund Administration.
• Leverage accounting experience to support and optimize financial processes.
• Mentor analysts and train new staff; manage workload.
• Review and implement process improvements to ensure compliance in Real Estate accounting.
• Coordinate Yardi configuration information with Tech team.
• Coordinate data testing and validation for funds being implemented/migrated.

Responsibilities

• Subject matter expert for Real Estate Fund Administration (FA), Real Estate Technology, and Fund Implementations.
• Consistent involvement with troubleshooting and resolving business user s requests in Yardi.
• Thorough understanding of deal requirements in Real Estate Fund Administration for successful fund implementation, including leading scoping exercises with internal accounting teams for new entity setup.
• Work with Real Estate accounting team to ensure best practices are utilized across all of Fund Administration.
• Leverage accounting experience to support and optimize financial processes.
• Supervise and mentor an Analyst, as well as train new employees and managing their workload.
• Work with leadership to review, suggest, and implement process improvements to ensure compliance adherence across Real Estate accounting group.
• Coordination of Yardi system configuration information with Tech team.
• Coordination of data testing and validation for funds being implemented/migrated
• Coordination of custom reporting setup

Requirements

• Information Technology literate, proficient in Yardi (Investment Management a plus), and strong Excel skills
• Strong understanding of different types of investments
