Position Summary

As a Client Operations Analyst – DMaaS Operations, you will be a core member of the team responsible for the day-to-day execution of client-specific data workflows, including critical processes for reference data, pricing, and security master operations. You will serve as the first line of support for issue resolution, exception handling, and SLA tracking, requiring a strong analytical mindset, operational discipline, and a client-first approach. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a client-facing capacity while developing deep expertise in data operations within a global financial services organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor data files accurately and efficiently per SOPs.
  • Investigate and resolve data exceptions and discrepancies promptly.
  • Support daily operational tasks and workflows of the DMaaS team.
  • Address client queries and resolve issues within agreed timelines.
  • Prepare data and assist in generating client and internal reports.
  • Perform data validation in line with SOPs and governance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Support audits and escalate potential risks when necessary.
  • Compile data for operational metrics, client SLAs, and dashboards.
  • Assist with basic data analysis to identify trends or anomalies.
  • Collaborate with team members and support new hire onboarding.
  • Participate in meetings, training sessions, and documentation updates.
  • Use internal platforms effectively and provide feedback on tools.
  • Identify inefficiencies and contribute to automation initiatives.
  • Support innovation and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain high accuracy and timeliness in all deliverables.
  • Meet or exceed KPIs and SLAs consistently.
  • Demonstrate accountability in service delivery and client support.

What We’re Looking For

Basic Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in data operations, managed services, or financial market operations.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, JIRA, or other workflow tools.
  • Exposure to financial data domains like pricing or reference data.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrates ownership and follow-through on tasks.
  • Collaborative and adaptable in a global, matrixed team environment.
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritize multiple workflows.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to scripting (Python) or visualization tools (Power BI).
  • Understanding of corporate actions, ESG, market data vendors are a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Process-oriented and detail-focused.
  • Curious and open to continuous learning.
  • Capable of analyzing data trends and offering insights.
