About the Role:

The Client Onboarding Manager will oversee the operations of Client Onboarding at Liminal, focusing on customer onboarding within the digital and fintech sectors. The role requires ensuring compliance with KYB (Know Your Business), AML, and CFT laws and regulations. A thorough understanding of financial regulations and AML/CFT laws is essential to ensure Liminal's compliance.

Responsibilities

1. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and expectations.
2. Onboarding Process Management: Develop efficient onboarding processes, perform KYB due diligence, and ensure AML/CFT compliance.
3. Project Coordination: Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver onboarding projects on time and within budget.
4. Client Training and Support: Provide training and materials to help clients utilize our offerings effectively.
5. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate onboarding risks, ensuring regulatory and policy compliance.
6. Problem Resolution: Address client issues promptly during onboarding.
7. Performance Tracking: Monitor onboarding success, gather feedback, and improve procedures.
8. Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records and prepare management reports.
9. Product Knowledge: Stay updated on products, services, and industry trends.
10. Client Retention: Collaborate with sales and account teams to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
11. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements for onboarding efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or related fields; certifications like CAMS or ICA are preferred.
2. 5+ years in client onboarding, compliance, or financial crime risk management, preferably in digital or fintech sectors, with experience working with regulatory bodies.
3. Strong knowledge of KYB, AML, and CFT regulations across jurisdictions.
4. Experience with onboarding tools, AML screening systems, and customer lifecycle platforms.
