Job summary

CSC is seeking an Accountant in Bengaluru to review financial statements, prepare reports, and ensure precise bookkeeping for clients. The role involves posting journal entries and coordinating with onshore teams for accurate financial delivery.

Ideal candidates are Chartered Accountants with 1–3 years post articleship, strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and BCE software. VAT/GST and regulatory filings experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with 1-3 years post articleship.
• Strong bookkeeping concepts and GAAP/IFRS knowledge.
• Team player, independent, meticulous, proactive, with excellent communication.
• Proficient in preparing, reviewing, and controlling financial statements.
• Proficient in Excel/MS Office and BCE accounting software.
• Knowledge of VAT/GST and regulatory filings.

Responsibilities

• Review and posting of Journal entries and other bookkeeping activities.

• iXBRL filings / preparation of publication accounts.

• Assist internal and external auditors and tax advisors.

• Collaborate with onshore colleagues coordinating with external parties.

We're seeking an enthusiastic Accountant to join us in reviewing financial statements, preparing financial reports, and ensuring bookkeeping accuracy for individuals and corporations. We're looking for a dynamic, team player with strong analytical and communication skills, good knowledge of financial statement preparation, and a solid understanding of bookkeeping.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review and posting of Journal entries and other bookkeeping activities


• Preparation and review of management accounts and its schedules


• Preparation and Review of Financial statements (including Consolidation if required) and annual statutory financial reports as well as monthly / quarterly financial report for clients


• iXBRL filings / preparation of publication accounts


• Regulatory filings as per jurisdiction requirements


• Assistance to Internal and External Financial / Compliance auditors


• VAT /GST registration and administration


• Adherence to SOPs and TAT for all activities


• Good understanding of financial statements preferable with some audit background


• Working closely with onshore colleagues who will co-ordinate with the external parties such as accountants, law firms and tax advisors


• Proactively handling various client queries in a timely and professional manner


• Coaching, training, guiding junior /new joiners in the team

Education, Qualification and Skills:

• Qualified CA (1-3 years of relevant experience post article ship)


• Possess a strong concept of book-keeping and GAAP / IFRS standards.


• A good team player, independent, meticulous, proactive, attentive to details, self-motivated and able to adapt in new challenges and with excellent communication skills


• Proficient with preparation, review and control check points on financial statements


• Potential to lead and guide team


• Proficient in Excel/MS Office


• Risk identification and process lean


• Proficiency in accounting software- BCE


• Knowledge in accounting for Holding companies, dividend accounting and intercompany loans
