Job summary

Stantec seeks experienced water engineers to join our UK-focused clean water team from our Pune office. You'll work on projects ranging from treatment plant design to asset optimization, applying on-site testing and design skills to improve water supply resilience.

Education required: BE in Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical disciplines. Candidates with 5+ years in clean water processing and a collaborative mindset will fit well as we expand our national and international teams.

Qualifications

• Education: BE Environmental or Chemical or Mechanical.
• Five+ years in clean water process design, operation or testing.
• On-site testing techniques like jar testing experience desirable.
• Team collaboration in a growing global water team.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site test work and assist in system design for clean water projects.
• Contribute to utility business plans and long-term water resilience strategies.
• Support projects across AMP cycle and asset optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate across offices with the North of England, Scotland and Ireland teams.

We are looking for experienced individuals to join our clean water team across a range of offices. Whether recently chartered or an expert in the field, we’d like to hear from people as excited as we are about how we can solve the water supply and resilience challenges facing the industry. The opportunities we can offer span both AMP cycle and Strategic Resource Options schemes, and as we operate as an integrated national team, you’ll be able to work on projects across the UK with a primary focus on our clients in the North of England, Scotland and Ireland.

Education: BE Environmental or Chemical or Mechanical

• Want to be part of the solutions to water catchment, resource scarcity, treatment and emerging pollutant challenges.
• Have worked in a clean water process specialism (e.g. design, science or operation) for five years or over.
• Have experience in, or are looking to learn, on site testing techniques to help us improve existing asset performance (e.g. jar testing).
• Enjoy working collaboratively in a team setting, and want to be part of a growing & nurturing UK and global team.
