Job summary

Adecco India is seeking a Claims Manager to lead end-to-end claims support within the Claims Motor & Engineering department in Kolkata. You will coordinate with insurers, surveyors, and service providers to ensure timely registration, documentation, and settlement of insured claims.

Responsibilities include scrutinizing documentation, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with IRDAI guidelines and SOPs, and delivering high-quality client service while managing multiple claims

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Commerce, Management, Insurance, or Law).
• Diploma or certification in Insurance or Risk Management is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in the registration and claim procedures, documentation requirements, and policy coverage processing of insurance claims.
• Scrutinize claim documents to ensure completeness and compliance with insurer requirements.
• Coordinate with insurance companies, surveyors, Garage/ repairers, and other stakeholders for timely claim processing.
• Monitor claim status and provide regular updates to clients and internal management.
• Follow up with insurers to expedite claim assessment and settlement & resolve customer queries and address claim-related grievances promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate claim records, MIS reports, trackers, claim summaries, analysis and periodic reports for management and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to company SOPs, IRDAI regulations, and insurer guidelines.
• Coordinate with the sales and servicing teams to provide seamless customer support.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in insurance claims handling, preferably in an insurance broking company.
• Experience in handling Corporate, Motor, Property, Marine, or Liability claims will be preferred.
