Job summary

Avenue Supermart Ltd (Dmart) is seeking a skilled civil construction professional to execute and monitor retail projects including stores, malls and warehouses. You will ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, BOQs and schedules, while coordinating with architects, consultants, vendors and contractors on-site.

You will manage site teams, subcontractors and daily activities to meet quality, safety and timeline targets, control costs through material planning, and oversee inspections, handovers

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor civil construction activities for retail projects including stores, malls, and warehouses.
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, and contractors for smooth site execution.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and daily construction activities to meet quality and safety standards.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure timely completion as per retail opening schedules.
• Control project costs by material planning, wastage control, and budget tracking.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, local building by-laws, and safety norms.
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and progress reviews.
• Coordinate with liaisoning team for inspections, approvals, and clearances during execution.
• Resolve site-level technical issues and provide practical construction solutions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and MIS.
• Manage execution of structural, finishing, and external development works.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of services.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards and specifications for retail fit-outs.
• Support handover, snag closure, and final completion of projects.
