Job description

Key Responsibilities

Quantity Surveying

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications for dam and pump house structures
• Maintain and update BOQs (Bill of Quantities) as per design revisions
• Conduct site measurements and reconcile with contractor submissions
• Verify subcontractor and vendor quantities for civil works, MEP, and hydro-mechanical components

Billing & Cost Management

• Prepare and process interim and final bills for contractors and vendors
• Ensure billing is aligned with contract terms, work progress, and quality standards
• Coordinate with site engineers and project managers for work certification
• Maintain billing logs, payment schedules, and cost tracking sheets

Estimation & Budgeting

• Assist in preparing project cost estimates during tendering and execution phases
• Analyze rate analysis for civil, structural, and electromechanical works
• Support budgeting and forecasting for dam and pump house components

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain records of drawings, approvals, work orders, and billing documents
• Ensure compliance with government norms, safety standards, and environmental regulations
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and government authorities for approvals and audits
