Team Overview:
Regulatory demands and the focus on Markets Surveillance have intensified globally. As a result, the Trade Surveillance Technology team at Citi Pune has an increased workload that requires additional business lines, countries, and more sophisticated surveillance methods to be delivered using our strategic platforms. These platforms enable users to monitor trading activity across multiple asset classes and information barriers, in real time, end of day, and through historic lookup bases, to detect potential Market Abuse, Insider Dealing, and other types of fraud.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager, with a strong background in delivering projects and rolling out new products within technology teams. This role offers opportunities to be involved in designing, prototyping, and implementing new surveillance techniques based on data analytics, behavioral analytics, and machine learning. Knowledge of Features Engineering or Features Design is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with global Compliance stakeholders throughout the SDLC to gather requirements, manage scope and changes, facilitate UAT, and secure sign-off.
Produce high-quality documentation such as BRDs/FRDs using Citi’s templates and review test cases/expected results.
Lead a team of data analysts, software developers, testers, and other technology professionals through the project lifecycle.
Assist data scientists with solution design during prototyping.
Coordinate with diverse teams and systems across multiple business and technology units.

Required Skills:
Exceptional project leadership skills, with the ability to unify technical teams both onsite and remotely.
Strong SQL and database querying skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Analytical skills to quickly interpret relevant project information.

Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of Capital Markets, trading, and the trade lifecycle across asset classes.
Knowledge of Capital Markets data types such as Trade Orders, Executions, Reference Data, and Market Data.
Financial market product knowledge (e.g., Equities, FX, Derivatives, Commodities, Fixed Income).
Interest in Trade Surveillance, Data Analytics, and Data Science.
Experience with Data Mining, Big Data, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
