Job summary

Persistent Bengaluru is seeking a Security Analyst to monitor, analyze, and enhance the organization's security posture across global environments, including email security and governance.

You will implement and manage ForcePoint, Zscaler, and Microsoft 365 Security, coordinate with IT, audit teams, and TPRM, and contribute to risk reduction through threat analysis and incident response.

Qualifications

About Position:

We are seeking a Security Analyst responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and enhancing the organization's security posture across global environments. The role involves security operations, threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, email security administration, governance support, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will work closely with security, infrastructure, cloud, and compliance teams to ensure effective protection of enterprise systems and data.

What You'll Do:

• Perform continuous monitoring of security alerts and events across APAC, EMEA, and AMER regions.
• Support L2 security operations activities and investigate suspicious events and security incidents.
• Analyze threats, vulnerabilities, attack patterns, and emerging
• security risks.
• Implement, configure, and manage email security solutions including ForcePoint Email Security and Zscaler.
• Configure userspecific security policies, warning banners, URL rewrite exceptions, blacklisting, whitelisting, and email classification rules.
• Troubleshoot email delivery issues, routing delays, inbound and outbound mail failures, and quarantine-related incidents.
• Conduct email threat analysis and support onboarding of new domains and email security controls.
• Support ISMS governance activities, security policy adherence, standards management, and risk acceptance processes.
• Assist with internal audits, external audits, compliance assessments, and customer security questionnaires.
• Work with ThirdParty Risk Management (TPRM) teams, auditors, regulators, and compliance stakeholders.
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation activities and track closure of security findings.
• Support incident response investigations for email security, endpoint security, and infrastructure-related incidents.
• Participate in threat modeling, technical security reviews, and secure-by-design assessments.
• Support API security reviews, application security assessments, and remediation tracking.
• Maintain security documentation, operational procedures, reports, and governance records.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 4 to 8 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity Operations, or Security Engineering.
• Handson experience with ForcePoint Email Security, Zscaler, and Microsoft 365 Security solutions.
• Strong understanding of Email Security, Threat Protection, Anti-Phishing, Anti-Malware, and Data Protection controls.
• Experience working with SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, and security monitoring platforms.
• Knowledge of log analysis, threat detection, security investigations, and incident response processes.
• Experience coordinating vulnerability remediation and risk mitigation activities.
• Ability to create and modify Regular Expressions (Regex) for security policies and rule creation.
• Understanding of security governance, ISMS frameworks, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting security assessments, policy reviews, and governance activities.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across enterprise environments.
• Ability to investigate and resolve security incidents across multiple technologies and platforms.
• Good understanding of network security, endpoint security, and enterprise security controls.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in global environments supporting multiple regions and business units.
• Exposure to cloud security concepts and SaaS security controls.
• Experience performing architecture reviews and secure design assessments.
• Knowledge of API security and application security principles.
• Experience supporting customer security reviews, audits, and RFP security responses.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and related compliance standards.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, SC-200, AZ-500, CISSP, or equivalent.
