Job summary

TronMatrix LLP is seeking a CICS Security Specialist to lead security integration during ACF2 to RACF migration. The role involves converting and validating security controls across CICS regions, transactions, programs, resources, files, terminals and more.

You will oversee certificate coordination, TLS setup and secure connectivity, and coordinate testing and BAU procedures during migration. Immediate/joining short notice is preferred with hybrid work in Pune or Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in CICS security or mainframe middleware security.
• Strong CICS Transaction Server security experience in RACF or ACF2 environments.
• Hands-on ACF2 to RACF migration experience.
• Experience with security controls for CICS regions, transactions, programs, files and resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead CICS security conversion from ACF2 to RACF.
• Define RACF controls for CICS regions, transactions, programs, files, terminals, commands and data.
• Validate IDs, service IDs, application IDs and authorities.
• Coordinate certificates, TLS and secure connectivity.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced CICS Security Specialist to lead CICS Transaction Server security integration during ACF2 to RACF migration. The role involves converting and validating security controls across CICS regions, transactions, programs, resources, files, terminals, commands, temporary storage, transient data, intercommunication, service IDs, certificates and TLS.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead CICS security conversion from ACF2 to RACF.
• Define RACF controls for CICS regions, transactions, programs, files, terminals, commands, temporary storage and transient data.
• Validate started-task IDs, region IDs, service IDs, application IDs, surrogate and batch authorities.
• Coordinate digital certificates, keyrings, TLS and secure connectivity.
• Review SIT, CSD, RDO, PLT, security exits and inter-region communication for migration impact.
• Lead transaction, resource, connectivity and negative authorization testing.
• Troubleshoot security issues using RACF messages, CICS traces, SMF, region logs and application diagnostics.
• Coordinate application sign-off and prepare security evidence and BAU procedures.

Required Skills and Experience

• 12+ years of experience in CICS, transaction services or mainframe middleware security.
• Strong CICS Transaction Server security experience in RACF or ACF2 environments.
• Hands-on ACF2 to RACF security migration experience.
• Strong transaction, program, resource, file, terminal and command security experience.
• Experience with CICS region IDs, started tasks, surrogate access and service IDs.
• Experience with CICS SIT, CSD, RDO, PLT and security exits.
• Strong digital certificate, keyring, TLS and secure connectivity experience.
• Experience with SMF, CICS traces, region logs and application diagnostics.
• Hands-on regression, authorization, connectivity and negative testing experience.
• Production CICS workload, security migration and cutover experience.

• Experience with regulated enterprise/mainframe environments.
