Job summary

Mekr Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a technically strong Sourcing Executive to support SKD project procurement. You will collaborate with Engineering and Production to ensure right components, at right cost and on time.

Freshers with strong electronics/electrical/mechanical fundamentals are welcome to apply. The role requires sourcing, BOM interpretation, vendor negotiations and cost optimization within a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Understand BOMs, technical specs, drawings and assembly needs for SKD projects.
• Source electronic, electrical and mechanical components from suppliers.
• Manage RFQs, quotations, price comparisons and negotiations.
• Evaluate components by MPN, specs, MOQ, cost, lead time.
• Coordinate with engineering/production for technical requirements.
• Follow up with vendors for samples, orders and delivery.
• Maintain sourcing records and support cost optimization.

Role Overview

We are looking for a technically strong and proactive Sourcing Executive to support sourcing and procurement for SKD projects. The candidate will work closely with Engineering, Production and suppliers to ensure the right components are sourced at the right cost, quality and timeline.
Freshers with strong technical knowledge in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand BOMs, technical specifications, drawings, testing requirements, assembly requirements and component requirements for SKD projects.
• Source electronic, electrical and mechanical components from suitable suppliers.
• Identify vendors and manage RFQs, quotations, price comparison and negotiations.
• Evaluate components based on MPN, specifications, MOQ, cost, availability and lead time.
• Coordinate with Engineering/Production teams for technical requirements and alternate components.
• Follow up with vendors for samples, orders and timely material delivery.
• Maintain sourcing records and support cost optimization and alternate vendor development.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong technical understanding of electronic/electrical components.
• Ability to understand BOMs, datasheets, specifications and part numbers.
• Basic knowledge of electronic manufacturing.
• Good analytical, communication and vendor coordination skills.
• Proactive and ownership-driven approach.
• Good MS Excel skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in electronics sourcing/procurement or manufacturing.
• Exposure to SKD/CKD or NPD projects.
• Knowledge of component sourcing platforms such as Mouser, DigiKey, element14, Arrow, etc.
• Basic ERP/procurement knowledge.
• Understanding of SMT/THT/PCBA manufacturing.

Education

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related technical fields.
