Job summary

Bodhi Mind Care Hospital in Coimbatore is seeking a Child Psychologist with a strong background in ABA and behavioural therapy to join our growing children’s services. You will conduct assessments, design ABA-based programmes, visit schools, train junior clinicians, and contribute to expanding our school-referral network across Tamil Nadu.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, ABA, or closely related field.
• Experience working with children in ABA/behavioural therapy.
• Experience working with or within schools.
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, Coimbatore.
• Own transport and willingness to travel between centres and partner schools.
• Interest in training and upskilling others in ABA/behavioural therapy.
• Strong communication with children, families and school staff.

Responsibilities

Hiring: Child Psychologist – ABA & Behavioural Therapy | Coimbatore

Bodhi Mind Care is a growing UK-model psychiatric and mental health service with multiple centres across Coimbatore. As we expand, we're building a strong referral pathway with local schools for children presenting with ADHD, autism spectrum conditions, conduct and behavioural difficulties, and other childhood emotional/developmental concerns.

We're looking for a Psychologist to join our children's services team, with a strong grounding in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and behavioural therapy.

What you'll be doing:

• Conducting assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions for children referred with ADHD, autism, conduct/behavioural difficulties, and related childhood issues
• Designing and delivering ABA-based behavioural therapy programmes tailored to individual children
• Working closely with referring schools across Coimbatore, including school visits, to support children in the classroom setting
• Training and mentoring junior clinicians and support staff in behavioural therapy and ABA techniques
• Contributing to the growth of Bodhi Mind Care's children's and school-referral services

What we're looking for:

• Master's degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Applied Behaviour Analysis, or a closely related field
• Demonstrable experience working with children, particularly in ABA and/or behavioural therapy
• Experience working with or within schools
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, Coimbatore
• Own transport, with willingness to travel between centres and partner schools
• A genuine interest in training and upskilling others in ABA/behavioural therapy
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with children, families, and school staff alike

Nice to have:

• RBT/BCBA credential or equivalent ABA-specific certification
• Prior experience in a multidisciplinary mental health or paediatric setting
