Job summary

Victreesolutions is seeking a Chief Risk Officer in Mumbai to establish and drive an organization-wide risk culture. You will oversee risk management for the AMC and mutual fund schemes, and govern RMF across the entities.

You will define risk policies, oversee ERMF reviews, and present risk-related updates to risk committees and the CEO, ensuring timely risk reporting and action across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Establish organization-wide risk culture and implement structured risk reporting processes.
• Oversee risk management activities for the AMC and Mutual Fund Schemes.
• Govern RMF implementation across the AMC and Mutual Fund Schemes
• Define, review, and update risk-related policies and obtain RMC/board approvals.
• Review ERMF for DoP; present to RMCs for approval.
• Suggest changes to KRAs and risk management responsibilities; present to RMCs.
• Monitor daily risk management, reporting, and corrective actions at Fund Manager/CIO/CEO level.
• Review risk appetite and metrics for AMC and schemes as defined by CEO.
• Develop mechanisms for risk parameters across credit and fraud risk strategies; report framework.
• Report ERMC and Board Risk Committee outcomes; communicate risks to management.
• Independently assess risk reporting to various committees and CEO monthly.

Role Description

• Establishing an organization wide risk conscious culture. Formulate and implement structured reporting process for risk monitoring
• Responsible for overall risk management related activities of the AMC and Mutual Fund Schemes
• Responsible for implementation and governance of RMF across the AMC and the Mutual Fund Schemes

Job Description

• Ensure all risk-related policies are defined, reviewed, and updated periodically and placed at the relevant risk management committee for approval
• Perform periodic review and update the ERMF defined by the AMC and place the same to the RMCs for the approval
• Formulate and recommend changes to roles and responsibilities including KRAs relating to risk management activities and place these at the RMCs for approval
• Periodically review the DoP covering daily risk management, risk reporting and corrective actions at the level of Fund manager, CIO and CEO
• Review and suggest changes to the risk appetite and risk metrics for the AMC and scheme as defined by the CEO
• Ensure formulation and implementation of adequate mechanism for risk parameters at credit and fraud risk strategies and reporting framework on the same
• Review and report the ERMC and Board Risk Committee of AMC and Trustee
• Independently assess reporting of risks to various committees and the management
• Report outcomes of the risk management function to the CEO at least once a month
• Define process to assess the control against identified risk(RCSA, Stress Testing)Identify, assess and estimate emerging risks and their possible impact on the AMC and mutual fund schemes
• Report existing and emerging risks associated with the MF and the AMC activities in a structured manner to the Risk Management
