Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and hands-on COO to lead and transform our factory operations. This role requires a leader with a proven track record of scaling up production capacity, improving efficiency, and managing resources optimally. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical acumen, be technology-driven, and excel at enhancing both machinery utilization and workforce productivity.
Responsibilities
- Scale-Up Leadership: Drive expansion of production capacity while ensuring cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
- Resource Efficiency: Optimize utilization of machinery, manpower, and raw materials to achieve higher output with lower wastage.
- Mechanical Acumen: Leverage technical knowledge to troubleshoot, improve, and modernize mechanical processes and equipment.
- Production Management: Oversee day-to-day operations to consistently achieve production volume, quality, and delivery targets.
- Manpower Management: Build, train, and motivate teams to maximize workforce efficiency and instil a performance-driven culture.
- Technology & Modernization: Implement automation, digital tools, and lean manufacturing practices for long-term efficiency gains.
- Quality & Safety: Enforce stringent quality control measures and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Align factory operations with procurement, sales, finance, and senior management for organizational growth.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering (Masters preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven ability to scale production and improve resource efficiency.
- Strong mechanical and technical acumen with hands-on problem-solving ability.
- Exposure to modern manufacturing technologies, automation, and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and execution skills.
