Job summary

Kwan Ventures, a fast-growing fintech, is seeking a Chief of Staff to work closely with the Founder/CEO on strategic priorities and organisational initiatives.

You will translate priorities into actionable plans, drive cross-functional execution across product, technology, risk, finance and operations, and help build capabilities for the next growth phase.

This role offers high visibility, broad exposure to business strategy, lending operations, and performance governance.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in strategy, operations, or CEO office roles.
• Experience in fintech or financial services is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive execution.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic priorities, translate them into execution plans, and track progress against objectives.
• Monitor performance, develop dashboards, analyse metrics, and generate insights.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across business, product, tech, risk, credit, collections, finance and operations.
• Identify growth opportunities, bottlenecks, and implement structured recommendations.
• Support leadership reviews, prepare updates and presentations, and improve governance.
• Evaluate strategic projects and new opportunities to strengthen the market position.
• Coordinate with senior stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective execution.

As the company continues to scale, it is looking to hire a Chief of Staff to work closely with the Founder/CEO on strategic priorities, business performance, and key organisational initiatives.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of strategy, business operations, and execution. The individual will partner with the leadership team to translate business priorities into actionable plans, drive cross-functional initiatives, and help build the organisational capabilities required for the next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Execution: Work closely with the Founder/CEO to define strategic priorities, translate them into execution plans, and track progress against key business objectives.
• Business Performance & Analytics: Monitor business performance, develop management dashboards, analyse key metrics, and generate insights to support business decisions.
• Cross-functional Leadership: Drive critical initiatives across business, product, technology, risk, credit, collections, finance, and operations, ensuring alignment and timely execution.
• Business Problem Solving: Identify growth opportunities, operational bottlenecks, and areas for improvement; develop structured recommendations and drive implementation.
• Leadership & Governance: Support leadership reviews, prepare business updates and presentations, and establish mechanisms to improve accountability and decision‑making across teams.
• New Initiatives & Growth: Evaluate and drive strategic projects, new business opportunities, and initiatives aimed at strengthening the company's market position and operating model.
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with senior internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective execution of key priorities.

Ideal Candidate

• 6–10 years of experience across management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, CEO's office, or strategic roles within high‑growth businesses.
• Experience in fintech, lending, banking, NBFCs, or financial services would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business challenges and develop actionable solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high‑priority initiatives and drive execution across diverse teams.
• Commercially oriented, with an understanding of business metrics, unit economics, and growth levers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership.
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment that requires both strategic thinking and hands‑on execution.
