Job summary

The National Institute for Smart Government (NISG) seeks a Chief Middle Specialist in Koraput to lead airworthiness certification activities and ensure compliance with military standards. The role requires reviewing development lifecycles and design reviews (PDR/CDR) and interpreting complex air system specifications.

We expect 6-8 years of relevant experience, with essential BE/BTech/BSc Engg. and desirable ME/MTech.

Qualifications

• Mandatory 06-08 years of experience in Airworthiness Certification of Aircraft/Systems.
• Awareness about the Indian Military Certification practices and standards.
• Understanding lifecycle of development and scope of design reviews (PDR/CDR).
• Interpretation of technical specifications of Air Systems.
• Scrutiny of Qualification Test Requirements.
• Scrutiny of ACP documents and test schedules.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify airworthiness certification activities for aircraft and systems.
• Assess and interpret design documents and lifecycle requirements.
• Participate in and scrutinize PDR/CDR and related design reviews.
• Ensure compliance with military and aviation standards.
• Assess qualification test requirements and test schedules (ACP).
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely certification deliverables.
