Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in cybersecurity and information security.
• Proven experience as Global or Enterprise CISO or equivalent.
• Experience leading security for global IT services, digital engineering, technology, software or consulting organizations.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the global cybersecurity and information security strategy aligned with business and technology priorities.
• Lead enterprise security across application, cloud, infrastructure, data, identity, vulnerability, incident response, and security resilience.
• Establish robust security risk, governance, compliance, and data protection frameworks.
• Drive AI security, governance, and risk frameworks covering LLMs, GenAI, data protection, access, model risk, and responsible AI adoption.
• Partner with engineering and delivery teams to embed security across the technology and software development lifecycle.
• Lead security audits, certifications, regulatory and customer compliance requirements.
• Act as a senior security advisor to strategic customers, supporting RFPs, due diligence, audits, and executive engagements.
• Build and mentor a high-performing global security organization and drive a strong security culture.

Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

About the Role

Ness Digital Engineering is looking for a seasoned Global CISO to lead the organization’s global cybersecurity, information security, risk, governance, and compliance agenda.

The CISO will define and execute Ness’s global security strategy, strengthen enterprise and customer security, build a scalable security organization, and partner with executive leadership, technology, delivery, sales, and customers. The role will also drive AI security and governance for the responsible adoption of LLMs, GenAI, and emerging AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the global cybersecurity and information security strategy aligned with business and technology priorities.
• Lead enterprise security across application, cloud, infrastructure, data, identity, vulnerability, incident response, and security resilience.
• Establish robust security risk, governance, compliance, and data protection frameworks.
• Drive AI security, governance, and risk frameworks covering LLMs, GenAI, data protection, access, model risk, and responsible AI adoption.

Ideal Candidate

• 20+ years of experience, with significant leadership experience in cybersecurity/information security.
• Proven experience as a Global/Enterprise CISO or equivalent senior security leader.
• Experience leading security for a global IT services, digital engineering, technology, software, or consulting organization.
• Strong expertise across cybersecurity, information security, risk, governance, compliance, and security transformation.
• Experience managing enterprise customer security requirements and senior-level customer engagements.
• Strong experience in AI security/governance, including LLM/GenAI security and risk frameworks.
• Strong executive presence, business acumen, and ability to translate cyber risks into business outcomes.
• Experience with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CCSP are preferred.
• Strong industry presence through cybersecurity forums, conferences, publications, or professional associations is a plus.
