Job summary

BETSOL, a global technology company with offices in Bangalore and Belagavi, is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function for domestic and international entities. You will design scalable finance systems, partner with legal and compliance, and drive growth through data-driven insights.

You will work with cross-functional teams in operations, sales, and HR to align resources with strategic priorities, while ensuring robust financial controls, budgeting, and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in commerce or related field; professional CA qualification preferred.
• Experience leading finance for multi-entity tech businesses; global exposure a plus.
• Strong communication and ability to work with stakeholders across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive long-term financial strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and variance analysis.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closes with GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Manage compliance across geographies (IRS, GST, ROC) and tax planning.
• Oversee treasury, intercompany transfers, hedging, and working capital optimization.
• Hire, mentor, and scale the finance team and coordinate with auditors.
• Prepare board packs and key KPIs; support due diligence and financial storytelling.

Job Description

About the Role:

BETSOL is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Chief Financial Officer to serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and a trusted partner to the CEO. This is a high-impact role for a finance leader who thrives at the intersection of operational rigor and strategic vision — someone who can bring clarity to multi-entity financials while helping drive the company's next phase of growth.

As CFO, you will own the full spectrum of BETSOL's financial operations across its domestic and international entities, including subsidiaries in India and US markets. You will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading the financial infrastructure, controls, and reporting frameworks that support a technology company operating across multiple business lines. You will also serve as the primary financial interface for legal and compliance matters, banking relationships, tax strategy, and board-level reporting.

This role demands equal parts analytical depth and business judgment. The ideal candidate is not just a steward of the numbers — they are a builder who can design scalable finance systems, identify operational inefficiencies, and translate financial data into actionable insight for the CEO and senior leadership. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across finance, legal, HR, sales, and technology to align resource allocation with strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

1. Strategic Financial Leadership

• Develop and drivelong-term financial strategyaligned with business goals.
• Providefinancial modelingfor new initiatives
• Advise the CEO on capital structure, dividends & Compliance.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Perform variance analysis and scenario planning.
• Present financial insights to the executive team and board.

3. Accounting Oversight

• Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annualfinancial closes.
• Ensure accurateGAAP-compliantreporting and consolidation (across US and India).
• Oversee audits, internal controls, and policy documentation.
• Oversee Finance operations (AR, AP, Payroll and Taxation)

4. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensureregulatory compliancein both geographies (IRS, GST, ROC, etc.)
• Managetax planning and filingsvia internal or external teams.
• Evaluate and mitigatefinancial risks, including FX, liquidity, and fraud.

5. Treasury & Cash Management

• Overseebanking relationships, cash flow, and working capital optimization.
• Manage intercompany transfers, currency hedging, and reserve strategies.

6. Team Leadership

• Hire, manage, and mentor the finance team (accountants, analysts, India finance lead)
• Engage with 3rd party Auditors
• Create scalable processes and systems for growth
• Work cross-functionally with operations, sales, and HR.

7. Investor & Board Reporting

• Prepare and deliver board packs, KPIs, and financial presentations.
• Support due diligence and financial storytelling
