Job summary

Tirumala Oil, a leading FMCG edible oil company, seeks a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic direction and overall leadership in line with the Board’s vision.

The CEO will drive growth, governance, and stakeholder relationships across production, sales & marketing, supply chain, and corporate functions while optimizing plant capacity and profitability and expanding market share.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA or equivalent management qualification preferred.
• Senior leadership role (CEO/COO/General Manager) experience in FMCG/edible oil manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the long-term strategic vision, business plans, and budgets in line with the Board’s directives.
• Provide overall leadership to production, sales & marketing, supply chain, finance, HR, and administration.
• Drive profitability, capacity utilization, and product yield across the FMCG oil portfolio, including new SKUs and pack sizes.
• Build and strengthen the Tirumala Oil brand, distribution network, and market share across channels.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with FSSAI, Legal Metrology, Pollution Control Board, and Factories Act.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Tirumala Oil is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic direction and overall leadership to the organization. The CEO will be responsible for driving business growth, brand building, and financial performance across production, sales & marketing, supply chain, and corporate functions for the company's FMCG edible oil portfolio, while ensuring strong governance and stakeholder relationships in line with the vision set by the Board of Directors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute the company's long-term strategic vision, business plans, and annual budgets in alignment with the Board's directives.
• Provide overall leadership and direction to production, sales & marketing, supply chain, finance, human resources, and administrative functions.
• Drive optimal utilization of plant capacity, product yield, and profitability across the FMCG oil portfolio, including new SKUs, pack sizes, and product line extensions.
• Build and strengthen the Tirumala Oil brand, distribution network, and market share across modern trade, general trade, and institutional channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with raw material suppliers, distributors, financial institutions, government bodies, industry associations, and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements applicable to the edible oil / FMCG industry, including FSSAI, Legal Metrology, Pollution Control Board, and Factories Act.
• Oversee the company's financial health, including budgeting, cost control, working capital management, and fundraising/banking relationships.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for business diversification, new product categories, capacity expansion, and modernization to strengthen long-term competitiveness.
• Represent the company at Board meetings, shareholder/general body meetings, industry forums, and government interactions.
• Build organizational capability by attracting, developing, and retaining key talent, and fostering a strong performance-driven culture.
• Establish robust risk-management practices and lead the organization's response to operational, financial, and market risks or crises.
• Review periodic performance reports from all departments and ensure timely corrective action to meet organizational goals.
• Champion good corporate governance, transparency, and ethical business practices across the organization.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Proven strategic leadership and general management experience in the FMCG or edible oil industry.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L, and fundraising for FMCG manufacturing and distribution operations.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills with distributors, suppliers, government bodies, and financial institutions.
• Deep understanding of the FMCG/edible oil value chain, brand building, distribution, and regulatory environment.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and crisis-management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate large, diverse teams across multiple functions.
• Willingness to travel extensively across plant sites, markets, and stakeholder locations as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent management qualification preferred.
• Proven track record in a senior leadership role (CEO/COO/General Manager) within the FMCG or edible oil manufacturing industry.
• Experience working with branded FMCG oil companies, with exposure to Board-level reporting and governance, will be an added advantage.
