Responsibilities

• Definire ed eseguire la strategia di crescita India con focalizzazione sull'espansione di mercato.
• Guidare l'organizzazione vendite locale e la rete di distributori e partner chiave.
• Supervisionare produzione, progetti e servizi, allineando domanda, produzione e consegna.
• Gestire P&L su vendite, servizi e produzione, con budgeting e forecasting.
• Collaborare con R&D, supply chain, qualità e ingegneria per allineare offerta e domanda.

Generac has ambitious growth plans for India, positioning the country as a strategic market within its global footprint.**Purpose of the role**This is a high-impact, commercially driven leadership role reporting to the Board of Directors. The selected candidate will have full responsibility for defining and executing Generac’s strategy in India and for driving business development, managing sales operations, overseeing manufacturing, project and service operations, and delivering the overall financial performance of the legal entity.The role requires strong commercial leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to build a scalable and sustainable organization aligned with Generac’s global standards and values. A key objective will be to elevate the manufacturing operation to full global quality standards, enabling the factory to support exports to other Generac subsidiaries worldwide.**Key Responsibilities**• Define and execute the commercial and growth strategy for India, with a strong focus on market expansion, customer acquisition, and long-term value creation.• Lead the local sales organization and channel network, including key partnerships with distributors, strategic customers, and industry influencers.• Provide leadership oversight of manufacturing, project execution, and service operations, ensuring alignment between market demand, production planning, and delivery performance.• Manage full P&L responsibility across sales, service, and production operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and cash management.• Work cross-functionally with R&D, supply chain, quality, and engineering teams to align production capabilities, product offerings, and innovation with market demand and sales objectives.• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across all aspects of the business, with a focus on efficiency, quality, safety, and scalability.• Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a strong performance culture aligned with Generac’s values and long-term objectives.• Act as the primary interface with the Board of Directors and Generac global leadership, providing clear visibility on performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic initiatives.Qualifications & Requirements• Proven experience in business development, sales management, and operational leadership within an industrial or manufacturing environment.• Experience in technology-driven capital equipment businesses (such as diesel generators, HVAC, or commercial and industrial pumps); strong knowledge of the power generation industry is a plus.• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, regulatory compliance, and operational best practices.• Demonstrated success in managing full P&L responsibility and building high-performing, cross-functional teams.• Strategic vision combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong interpersonal and communication skills.• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.• Ability to operate effectively in a high-pace, dynamic environment.
