Job summary

The Corporate Institute seeks a highly experienced Chief Dealer – Fixed Income to lead and manage a fixed income trading portfolio with a focus on profitability and regulatory adherence.

Ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of government and corporate bonds, money market instruments, and derivatives, with extensive interbank relationships and macroeconomic insight to navigate rate markets.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of active fixed income trading experience.
• Treasury experience managing a fixed income portfolio across G-secs, SDLs, corporates, money market instruments and fixed income derivatives (OIS/IRF) with PV01 limits.
• Macroeconomic concepts and dynamics of rate markets understanding.
• Cross-asset knowledge across forex, credit and rates.

Responsibilities

• Managing a trading portfolio while ensuring compliance with prudential risk limits.
• Achieving target profitability for the year.
• Scanning evolving market developments, generating/sharing trade ideas.
• Developing robust interbank relationships for market intelligence & feedback.
• Responsibility for internal and regulatory compliance in respect of Primary Dealer operations.

Role: Chief Dealer – Fixed Income

We are looking for a candidate who has 15-20 years of experience in fixed income trading with independent responsibility for achieving the target profitability by managing a fixed income securities portfolio.

Key Candidate Attributes:

• At least 15 years of active fixed income trading experience. Prior experience in Treasury with independent responsibility of managing a fixed income securities portfolio across G-secs, SDLs, Corporate bonds, Money market instruments and fixed income derivatives (OIS/IRF) with reasonably large PV01 limits.
• Good understanding of macro-economic concepts and dynamics of interest rate markets, both cash and derivatives.
• Deep understanding of cross-linkages across various asset markets including forex, credit and rates.
