Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 18-25 years of experience in software.
• Expertise in embedded systems (RTOS/Linux), cloud (Azure/AWS), web/mobile apps, and AI/ML.
• Experience in IoT solution architecture.

Eaton India Innovation Center is seeking a Chief Architect, Software in Pune. Location: Pune (Magarpatta City office).

Responsibilities

• Lead global technology teams on IoT and connected device solutions.
• Set priorities and goals, ensure deliverables and milestones, collaborate with other teams, establish a progressive work culture, and improve standards in delivery.
• Create technology road maps based on global product strategies and Centers of Excellence, and deploy them within the organization.
• Act as a technical mentor and expert reviewer across domains, reviewing and approving design proposals based on requirements and presenting them to stakeholders and customers.
• Develop and enhance technical capabilities of teams to deliver bestinclass design aligned with current and future business needs.
• Drive the creation of technology road maps globally and build the organizations capability.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and ecosystem partners to enhance the value proposition and quality of engineering deliverables.
• Create new or adjacent IoT solutions/services to enhance customer lifetime value of Eatons products.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or an associated field.
• 18 to 25 years of experience in the software industry.
• Expertise in designing solutions with embedded systems (RTOS/Linux), cloud systems (Azure/AWS), web and mobile applications, and AI/ML capabilities.
• Experience in solution architecture for IoT solutions.
