Responsibilities

  • Teach Chemistry to Classes XI and XII as per the prescribed curriculum and school academic plan.
  • Prepare structured, engaging, and concept-based lesson plans.
  • Explain Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry concepts clearly.
  • Prepare students for Board Examinations, school examinations, competitive examinations, assignments, and assessments.
  • Conduct regular tests, quizzes, assignments, and practical assessments.
  • Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Conduct and supervise Chemistry practicals and laboratory experiments with safety.
  • Help students understand reactions, equations, numerical problems, mechanisms, concepts, and applications.
  • Provide additional academic support to students who require improvement.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
  • Prepare worksheets, question papers, study materials, practical records, and revision resources.
  • Track student attendance, academic performance, and overall progress.
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate students' academic progress.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and school management for academic planning and student development.
  • Participate in school events, academic activities, workshops, seminars, and extracurricular programs.
  • Stay updated with modern teaching methodologies, curriculum changes, and educational practices.
  • Maintain proper records related to teaching, assessments, practicals, and student performance.
