Job summary

JobItUs in Vadodara is seeking a formulation scientist to contribute to the development of diverse pharmaceutical formulations and to support the technology transfer from lab to production.

The role involves screening surfactants, validating recipes, evaluating raw materials, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with BIS standards during project execution and field trials.

Qualifications

• Development of different formulations including SC, EC, GR, WG and related products.
• Reading and understanding patent claims for ongoing projects.
• Validation of recipes for various formulations.
• Evaluation of raw materials and their impact on product quality.
• Costing and cost-saving initiatives for formulated products.
• Participation in BIS projects and development of comparable formulations.
• Support for technology transfer from lab to plant level.
• Troubleshooting during commercialization and during field trials.
• Active participation in daily 5S activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop formulations such as Suspension Concentrate, Emulsifiable Concentrate, Coated Granules, Water Dispersible Granules and Spray Dried Granules.
• Screen suitable surfactants for different formulations to optimize performance.
• Validate and document formulation recipes and material requirements.
• Evaluate technical and raw materials for quality and cost implications.
• Assist in technology transfer from lab scale to plant scale.
• Support troubleshooting during commercialization stages and field trials.
• Contribute to cost estimation for different types of formulations.
• Participate in 5S activities to maintain organized work areas.

• * Actively worked on Innovative and Patentability products.
• * Patent reading, claims understanding
• * Validation of recipes of different types of formulations.
• * Evaluation of Technical and raw materials in formulations.
• * Cost saving of different types of formulated products.
• * Worked on BIS projects and development of me too formulation.
• * Screening of suitable surfactant for different types of formulations.
• * Support in technology transfer from lab level to plant level.
• * Support and troubleshooting during commercialization of products.
• * Costing (tentative) for different types of formulations.
• * Sample preparation and submission for field trials.
