Larsen & Toubro in India seeks a technically skilled operator to monitor boiler feed and steam parameters, sampling coal for quality, and ensure PPE compliance during hazardous chemical handling. The role includes maintaining membranes, testing and data logging for process optimization, and keeping key plant systems in peak condition.

Responsibilities also cover demineralized water production, effluent treatment toward zero liquid discharge, testing lubricants, and upkeep of condensate cooling

Responsabilidades

• Maintaining the boiler feed and steam parameters as per OEM recommendation.
• Ensure accurate sampling and testing of coal quality.
• Ensure proper usage of PPE for handling hazardous chemicals.
• Maintain membrane upkeep as per design.
• Maintain database for analysis of coal testing results, yard losses, etc.
• Produce demineralized water as per specified quality limits.
• Treat all effluents to achieve and maintain zero liquid discharge.
• Maintain sophisticated equipment used in water and coal testing.
• Test lubricating oil used in plant equipment.
• Maintain condensate cooling system water as per treatment program.
• Test received and feed coal samples.
• Ensure quality of raw/input chemicals used in the plant as per standards.
• Test LDO/HFO oil.
• Provide updates on power plant corrosion chemistry.
• Knowledge sharing – keep up with developments in the external environment.

• Ensure accurate sampling and testing of coal quality.
• Ensure the proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for handling the hazardous chemicals.
• Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of membrane as per design.
• Maintaining database for analysis of coal testing results, yard losses, etc.
• Ensure production of demineralized water as per specified quality limits.
• Responsible for treatment of all the effluents to achieve and maintain the zero liquid discharge.
• Ensure up-keeping of all sophisticated equipment used in water and coal testing.
• Responsible for testing of lubricating oil used in various equipments of the plant
• Maintaining of condensate cooling system water as per recommended treatment program.
• Responsible for testing of received and feed coal sample.
• Ensure the quality of raw/ input chemical used in thermal power plant as per the specified standard.
• Responsible for testing of LDO/HFO oil.
• Providing new updates on power plant corrosion chemistry.
• Knowledge sharing- keep up with the developments in the outer environment.
