Job Title: Chemist

Location: Paradip, Odisha

Employment Type: Full-time (On SGS Payroll)

Working Days: 6 days/week

Working Hours: 9 hours/day

Eligibility Criteria:

• M.Sc. in Chemistry with minimum 1 year of experience, OR
• B.Sc. in Chemistry with minimum 2 years of experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine chemical analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
• Ensure quality control as per industry and client standards
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (e.g., GC, HPLC, spectrophotometer, etc.)
• Prepare and standardize chemical reagents and solutions
• Maintain proper documentation and lab records
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines in the laboratory
• Assist in troubleshooting and process improvement activities

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in Refinery / Petrochemical / Oil & Gas industry
• Hands‑on experience in crude blending and petroleum product testing
• Familiarity with industry standards and testing procedures
