Allana Group in Kishanganj, Bihar, seeks a Laboratory Chemist (Site) to conduct chemical testing in the in-house lab and maintain documentation. Requires graduate or post‑graduate in Analytical, Organic or Industrial Chemistry and 1–2 years' experience in meat product testing.

Responsibilities include preparing standard solutions, instrument calibration, and generating professional reports while maintaining ISO 9001/22000 records.

• Computer knowledge especially in MS Office to prepare reports independently and professionally.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare standard chemical solutions and calibrate in-house instruments.
• Maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 documentation and records.
• Monitor and report test results for raw materials and finished products.
• Provide awareness training on food safety culture, GMP, GHP, and personal hygiene.

JOB DESCRIPTION LABORATORY CHEMIST (SITE)

Purpose of Position:

To conduct chemical testing in the in-house laboratory and documentation/record keeping.

Qualification

Graduate or Post-Graduate in Analytical Chemistry / Organic Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry

Gender : Male

Age: Less than 25 years

Experience

• Between 1-2 years
• Experience in export of meat & meat products, Poultry Products, would be an added advantage

Other Skills

Good Report Writing Skills and Record Keeping

Additional Qualification

• Computer Knowledge especially in MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel). Should be able to make computer reports independently and professionally.

Principle Accountability

• Plant preoperational Hygiene inspection and preparation of report.
• Testing of raw materials- salt, Sodium hypochlorite, lime, alum, caustic/acid etc and packaging materials.
• Chemical Testing of Meat & it's by-products-MBM, Gel Bone, Animal Fat, Blood Meal etc.
• Jaundice test of carcasses
• Water testing (Potable water, Process water, Boiler water, Cooling tower, RO water, ETP water).
• Fuel testing (HSD).
• Plant fumigation as per specified schedule.
• Preparation of standard chemical solutions of lab
• In house Instruments calibration of lab & maintain its record.
• Preparation & maintaining of ISO 9001 & ISO 22000 documents & records.
• Monitoring of online process activities of cdl, rendering & by products preparation of its records/reports with the coordination of plant head & QA head.
• Provide awareness training to shop floor workmen/supervisor w.r.t. food safety culture, GMP, GHP & personal hygiene.
• Pre-shipment inspection of carcasses/offal/by-product
• Data feeding of ERP.
• Online carcass quality Inspection.
• Physical & chemical Testing of meat.
• Knowledge of computer MS Office (MS-Word, Power Point, Excel).

NOTE: Besides above responsibilities management may be assign other duties & responsibilities time to time.
