About the Role

Chate Prep Plus is looking for a creative, proactive and responsible Social Media Intern to support daily social media activities, create engaging content using Canva, coordinate with internal teams and contribute to the organisation's digital marketing efforts.

This opportunity is ideal for freshers who are enthusiastic about social media, content creation and marketing and want to gain practical, hands-on experience in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Canva & Content Creation

• Design social media posts, stories, banners and promotional creatives using Canva.
• Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and other digital platforms.
• Maintain consistent branding, design quality and messaging.
• Make timely creative revisions based on feedback from the marketing team.
• Support the creation of promotional materials for campaigns, events and admission activities.

2. Social Media & Comment Marketing

• Actively engage with relevant social media pages, posts and communities through meaningful comments.
• Consistently execute organic comment marketing activities to improve brand awareness and visibility.
• Monitor comments, direct messages and social media interactions.
• Identify relevant conversations and opportunities to increase brand visibility.
• Maintain regular audience engagement across platforms without repetitive or spam-like activity.

3. Team Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with teachers, academic teams, content creators and the marketing department.
• Collect photographs, videos, academic updates and other content requirements from different teams.
• Follow up with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
• Communicate effectively in English, Hindi and Marathi.
• Assist in maintaining smooth communication and coordination between departments.
• Ensure information and content requirements are communicated accurately and on time.

4. Accountability & Daily Execution

• Take ownership of assigned tasks and complete them within deadlines.
• Maintain daily task trackers and content publishing schedules.
• Provide regular updates on completed, pending and ongoing activities.
• Follow up proactively instead of waiting for reminders.
• Communicate challenges or delays promptly and work towards solutions.
• Maintain consistency, responsibility and attention to detail in daily activities.

5. Social Media Management

• Assist in scheduling and publishing content across social media platforms.
• Support marketing campaigns, promotional activities and educational announcements.
• Monitor basic social media engagement and content performance.
• Research relevant social media trends, competitor activities and content opportunities.
• Suggest creative ideas to improve audience engagement and brand visibility.

Required Skills
