Job summary

Spaculus Software invites an experienced Chartered Accountant to join our finance team in Vadodara, handling monthly accounts and UK-specific compliance. You will prepare P&L and balance sheets, manage day-to-day entries, reconcile bank and control accounts, and support audits while liaising with UK clients.

Require CA with 3+ years post-qualification, strong English communication, and exposure to UK VAT/GAAP. This role offers direct UK team interaction and dedicated training.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
• Experience with UK VAT and UK GAAP is preferred.
• Excellent English communication with UK client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts including P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions.
• Bank, credit card and control account reconciliations.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Process invoices and supplier payments.
• Prepare UK VAT returns.
• Support audits and resolve discrepancies.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts including P&L and Balance Sheet
• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions
• Bank, credit card and control account reconciliations
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Process invoices and supplier payments
• Maintain and reconcile inventory accounts
• Assist with stock reconciliation and stock-takes
• Prepare and file UK VAT returns
• Support internal and external audits
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies

Preferred candidate profile:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Minimum 3+ years post-qualification experience
• Excellent English communication skills as you will be talking to UK client
