Job summary

Sampoorna Consultants is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the UK entity's books and lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closes. The role includes journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The successful candidate will handle invoicing, accounts receivable, collections, and month-end activities, while supporting process improvements and automation initiatives. Strong Excel skills and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in financial reporting, month-end close, revenue accounting, and Accounts Receivable.
• Hands-on experience with Xero, QuickBooks, and Django.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and English language skills.
