Job summary

Modern Automotives Limited in Chandigarh is seeking an adaptable finance assistant to support monthly and annual financial reporting, assist in the closing process, and maintain accurate records.

You will help with GST, TDS, income tax and statutory compliances, perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny and MIS reports for management review, coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in financial reporting, accounting, and preparation of financial statements.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Assist in GST compliance, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliances.
• Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and financial data analysis.
• Assist in budgeting, cost analysis, and variance reporting.
• Support internal audits, statutory audits, and tax audits.
• Ensure proper maintenance of financial records and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments for financial information and reporting.
• Assist in preparing MIS reports for management review.
