Responsibilities

• Budgeting & forecasting with cross-functional teams; compare actual vs budget and identify improvements
• Scrutiny of general ledgers, ensure bills are correctly accounted and support cost management
• Lead statutory and tax compliance, ensure timely tax returns and audits
• Prepare daily MIS and monthly reconciled MIS with consumption and financials

Job description

About the Role:

The CA will oversee entire gamut of Accounts & Finance including Costing & Taxation, MIS preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Budgeting & forecasting:

• Managing budgeting and forecasting processes by collaboration with cross functional team.
• Comparison of Actual performance vs Budgeted performance and identifying areas of improvement.

2. Financial Statements:

• Scrutiny of all GLs.
• Ensuring all bills are correctly accounted for.
• Monitoring cost structures and supporting financial planning for manufacturing and operations.

3. Statutory and tax compliance:

• Ensuring all tax returns are correctly and timely filed.
• Leading all types of audit including Tax audit, Statutory audit or any other departmental audit.

4. MIS:

• Ensuring all daily MISs are prepared in timely manner.
• Preparation of monthly MIS with reconciliation of consumption report.
• Ensuring MIS and financials are properly reconciled.

Candidate Profile:

• Chartered Accountant with experience of 4-6 years.
• Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of IND AS and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in taxation and compliance including direct and indirect tax, statutory filings and adherence to internal control frameworks.
• Comfort with ERP and Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
