Responsibilities

Chartered Accountant/CMA

Qualification

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified.
• 1-3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a listed company or Audit/Accounting firm

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Finalisation

• Finalisation of standalone and consolidated financial statements of the Company and its subsidiaries.
• Preparation of quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable Accounting Standards/Ind AS.
• Preparation of schedules, notes to accounts, and supporting documents for statutory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, SEBI Listing Regulations, and other statutory requirements applicable to listed companies.

GST Compliance

• Preparation and filing of monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR -6, ITC-04 and other applicable returns).
• Preparation and filing of annual GST returns and GST reconciliation statements.
• Reconciliation of GSTR-2B, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, books of accounts, and e-way bill data.
• Resolution of GST-related issues, notices, and departmental queries.

Audit & Compliance

• Liaise with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors, Cost Auditors, and other regulatory authorities.
• Prepare audit schedules and provide information required during audits.
• Ensure timely implementation of audit observations and recommendations.
• Coordinate with various departments for statutory compliance and financial reporting.
• Compliance of TDS and Personal taxation compliances and filing of TDS returns
• Corporate Taxation /Tax audit preparation
• Visit to various locations for implementation/ensuring of internal controls and Statutory compliances

Accounting & ERP

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Good understanding of accounting practices in the logistics business will be an added advantage.
• Experience in SAP Business One (SAP B1) is preferred.
• Ensure accurate accounting and maintenance of financial records.

MIS & Reporting

• Preparation of MIS reports, financial analysis, and management reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and statutory compliances.
• Excellent knowledge of GST laws and return filing procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, Pivot Tables, Lookup functions, data analysis) and Microsoft Word.
• Working knowledge of SAP Business One (SAP B1) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.

Communication Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with auditors, bankers, consultants, government departments, and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a listed company/Audit /Accounting Firms.
• Exposure to handling multiple subsidiaries.
• Knowledge of logistics industry accounting.
• Experience in audit coordination, statutory compliance, and ERP-based accounting systems.

Location: Kochi, Willingdon Island initially, can be transferred to other location of the company as per the requirements
