Job summary

JITO in Delhi seeks an experienced audit professional to lead statutory, tax, internal and system/process audits across diverse industries. You will review books, identify control gaps, and provide actionable recommendations to owners/CFOs. Proficiency in IND AS/AS and compliance with GST, TDS/TCS is essential.

You will coordinate with client teams for data collection, site visits, and closure of audit queries, while mentoring junior staff to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

• Lead and execute statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits and system/process audits for clients across industries.
• Plan audit scope, prepare audit programs, manage timelines, coordinate with client teams (including site visits), and ensure quality documentation as per Standards on Auditing.
• Review books of accounts, ledgers and supporting documents; identify control gaps, non-compliances, leakages and improvement opportunities.
• Perform financial analysis: ratio/trend analysis, working capital review, cash flow analysis, profitability and margin diagnostics.
• Prepare audit reports, management letters and actionable recommendations; present findings to owners/CFOs with clarity and confidence.
• Ensure compliance and filings under Income Tax, GST, TDS/TCS and other applicable laws; handle reconciliations, notices and assessment support.
• Finalize financial statements (including schedules), disclosures, and provide accounting guidance as per IND AS/AS where applicable.
• Support advisory assignments: MIS design, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, SOPs, and automation/ERP-related data validation.
• Manage junior team members: allocate work, review workpapers, coach for accuracy, build checklists/templates, and improve internal office systems.
• Maintain strong client relationships, professional communication, and confidentiality; proactively flag risks, deadlines and escalation items.

• Assist in finalization of accounts and financial statements, schedules, and disclosures; provide accounting guidance as required.
• Support advisory work: MIS reporting, budgeting/forecasting, cost control, SOP creation and process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with client teams for data collection, site visits, confirmations, and closure of audit queries.
• Lead and mentor junior staff: allocate work, review deliverables, train team, and improve internal systems/checklists.
