Millennium Consulting in Bengaluru seeks a Chartered Accountant to support GAAP-compliant accounting, prepare journal entries, and perform balance substantiation. You will liaise with internal stakeholders across Asia, Europe and NY, interact with banks and auditors, and contribute to regional finance projects.

Strong IFRS and US GAAP knowledge, excellent Excel skills, and time management are essential for this demanding role.

Formación

• Chartered Accountant with relevant corporate accounting experience.
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP; India GAAP experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and substantiation in line with GAAP.
• Assist in data reconciliation and respond to information requests.
• Consolidate financials for the US parent company per US GAAP.
• Prepare data and disclosure notes for local filings per local GAAP.
• Facilitate information requests from departments and external auditors.
• Interact with internal stakeholders across finance and departments in Asia, Europe and NY, plus banks and auditors.
• Identify opportunities and participate in regional finance projects; assist on ad-hoc tasks.

Job Summary

Chartered Accountant

Responsibilities

• Basis thorough understanding of the applicable legal entity and/or given process in line with applicable GAAP, responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciliations and balance substantiation.
• Assist in reconciling data and responding to requests for information on.
• Consolidation by parent US Company as per US GAAP.
• Data and disclosure note for all local filings as applicable as per local GAAP.
• Facilitate requests from various departments including external auditors.
• Interaction with various internal stakeholders across finance and various departments in Asia, Europe and NY and external stakeholders including banks and auditors.
• Identify opportunities and participate in various finance related projects (local and regional), assist in ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years post-qualification.
• Chartered Accountant with relevant corporate accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP. India GAAP experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills (both oral and written) required.
• Strong excel skills and accounting software knowledge.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task as well as meet short deadlines in a demanding environment.
• Solid analytical skills and judgment - strong attention to detail. Team player and good interpersonal skills.
