Job summary

Adani Ports and SEZ is seeking highly motivated Chartered Accountants (Freshers) to join our Corporate Finance team in Ahmedabad. The role provides exposure to budgeting, MIS, accounting, treasury, working capital management, audits, statutory compliance and initiatives to automate finance processes.

The successful candidate will coordinate budget preparation, analyze performance against budgets and support CAPEX evaluation with financial modelling.

Qualifications

• Fresh Chartered Accountant with no prior work experience.
• Exposure to budgeting, MIS, accounting and treasury processes.
• Familiarity with statutory compliance and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate OPEX and CAPEX budget preparation, review and monitoring.
• Analyze revenue, profitability and business performance against budgets.
• Support CAPEX evaluation through financial modelling and investment analysis.
• Prepare and automate MIS reports, dashboards and management presentations.
• Support preparation and review of financial statements and balance sheet schedules.
• Monitor expenses, receivables and working capital metrics and recommend corrective actions.
• Support cash flow management, treasury operations and short-term investment decisions.
• Coordinate statutory, internal and tax audits and closure of audit observations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Drive finance process automation using Power BI, Power Query, Advanced Excel, ERP/SAP, VBA or analytics tools.
• Develop automated dashboards and reduce manual reporting processes.
• Participate in finance transformation and digitalization projects.
