Position: Senior Software Engineer
Experience: 4-10 Years

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Your future duties and responsibilities

1. Design, develop and maintain Java production support-based applications.
2. Develop and implement efficient algorithms and data structures.
3. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
4. Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
6. Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and standards are met.
7. Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Must have skills:

1. 5+ years of experience as a Developer & Support, with hands-on experience working on GPP product.
2. Excellent interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn and contribute in other areas of the project.

The project team is in need of a GPP Production Support Analyst with the following skillset:

1. Proficient in GPP SP 4.0/4.6 or higher.
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Hands-on experience with Web services, MQ, NDM etc.
4. Experienced working with XML, ISO20022, NACHA, CSV, and other proprietary formats.
5. Good experience working on Oracle SQL.
6. Unix (Basic skills to perform triages, create scripts for automation etc.).
7. Proficient in troubleshooting issues from traces, analytical skills, and root cause analysis.
8. WAS Deploy and Configuration knowledge is a plus.

Domain:

1. Knowledge of Banking Payments domain and concepts of payment processing systems.
2. Good to have knowledge of ISO20022 standard payments messages, SWIFT, and FED messages.
3. Knowledge of Clearing systems and payment processing chain.
4. Knowledge of Real-time Payments, FED, SWIFT, ACH payment processing flows.
