Functional Lead Architect

Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Procure to Pay and Treasury (P2P & TRE) Architect to lead the design, integration, and optimization of P2P & TRE solutions within the Central Finance (CFIN) landscape. Responsibilities include ensuring processes align with business needs, are integrated with enterprise applications, and supported by automation to improve efficiency. The role involves collaboration with Finance, IS Architecture, vendors, and other internal teams to maintain and evolve the architecture, ensuring compliance with ABB standards. The work model is onsite, contributing to the Finance Services business in Bangalore, India.

  • Solution Design & Validation: Review and validate P2P & TRE solution designs to ensure alignment with business and technical requirements.
  • Ownership of Architecture: Define, document, and maintain the overall P2P & TRE architecture within CFIN, including technical components and integration points.
  • Solution Roadmap: Keep the architecture current, documenting changes and their impacts.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with solution teams, architects, vendors, and business stakeholders to configure and enhance the landscape.
  • Business Process Alignment: Collaborate with GPOs and business teams to define solutions aligned with best practices.
  • Automation & Innovation: Drive automation to streamline processes and reduce manual efforts.
  • Requirements Validation: Support validation of business and functional requirements.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure solutions meet internal and regulatory standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and drive ongoing improvements.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant fields; certifications in P2P, GCM, MM, SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP CFIN, or IT architecture.
    • 7-10 years of experience as P2P/TRE architect or similar, with deep SAP knowledge.
    • Expertise in SAP CFIN, SAP S/4HANA, and ERP modules like Order Management, Billing, Accounts Receivable.
    • Knowledge of process automation tools, global bank payment setup, PINO, POBO, and vendor correspondence strategies.
    • Experience with global cash management, bank connections, and managing vendor relationships.
    • Strong leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
