Job summary

Spruce Technology Consulting seeks a Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Engineer with 5+ years of ecommerce development and production support. Based in Bangalore, the role is hybrid with 2 days in the Manyata office, and shifts 2 pm–10:30 pm IST with a one-hour adjustment.

You will design, build and support scalable SFCC applications, collaborate with SFMC, DevOps and OMS, and ensure site availability and performance. On-call during peak periods with compensatory off.

Role & responsibilities

Title: Certified Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) 5+ years experience E-commerce development & production support.

Location: Bangalore - Hybrid - in and around commutable distance

Hybrid to our Manyata office is preferred with 2 days to office.

Work timings : 2 pm 10:30 pm IST (with an adjustment of 1 hour)

On-Call support during week-ends and holiday peak season. A compensatory off provided.

Salary budget: Rs. 10 lakhs per year

Job Description:

Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Engineer with 5 years of experience in E-Commerce development and production support. In this role, he will manage development with end-to-end production support. He will collaborate with cross-functional teams like SFMC, DevOps, OMS, etc. He is also responsible to troubleshoot system issues, implement bug fixes, maintain site availability, improve performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain scalable custom applications and integrations using standard SFCC architectures.
• Diagnose, debug and write fixes for code defects and system bugs identified in the production environment.
• Integrate SFCC with third-party systems including payment gateways, content management and order management systems (OMS).
• Perform routine code deployments, releases and maintain version control via GitHub.
• Provide L2/L3 application and production support across e-commerce storefronts.
• Triage, analyze and resolve production issues (P0–P3 priorities) within defined SLAs.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical incidents, outage events and recurring system issues.
• Monitor application health, error spikes, user sessions and order flow using SFCC Log Center.
• Configure and monitor custom alerts, dashboards and automated incident triggers in Splunk, Dynatrace, or Nagios.
• Linux/Unix command-line operations (or basic Shell scripting).
