Role Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide direct patient care and support to individuals undergoing rehabilitation for neurological, cardiac, orthopedic, pediatric, geriatric, stroke, and spine conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, while promoting safety, dignity, and comfort. The CNA will help with transferring and positioning patients, monitoring vital signs, reporting changes in condition to nursing staff, and maintaining accurate documentation of care provided. The role also involves supporting therapy schedules, preparing patients for rehabilitation sessions, and working closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to ensure coordinated, high-quality care. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong patient care and basic clinical skills, including assistance with activities of daily living, vital signs monitoring, and safe patient handling and mobility.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, including clear documentation and attentive listening.
• Candidates should possess skills in infection control, hygiene maintenance, and adherence to safety and quality protocols within a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
• Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple patients, follow care plans, and support therapy schedules efficiently.
• Candidates should possess empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to person-centered care, with the ability to encourage and motivate patients during rehabilitation.
• Completion of a recognized Certified Nursing Assistant or equivalent nursing aide program; relevant registration/certification as per local regulations.
• Prior experience in a hospital, long-term care, or rehabilitation facility is preferred; exposure to neurological or orthopedic rehabilitation is an advantage.
• Ability to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as required, and to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and supporting patients safely.
