Required Skills:
- 6+ Years of experience as a Workday business systems analyst or solution consultant
- Hands-on experience configuring Workday functionality and reports within the Workday Financials and/or Spend Management modules.
- Workday Financials Certification
- Experience with other financial accounting or professional services automation (PSA) tools such as FinancialForce would also be acceptable for the candidate with a desire and aptitude to learn Workday.
- Basic business understanding of one or more functional areas of the business such as Accounting, Finance, Sales, Professional Services, Marketing
- Ability to understand business requirements, and suggest and implement technology solutions to meet the requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot user-reported issues
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment within the Business Systems group as well as other groups within the IT organization.
- Solid problem-solving skills and a strong analytical thought process
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Desire to learn new technologies and work in varying business functional areas
Good to have:
- Previous knowledge of PowerBI, HubSpot, SpringCM is a plus
- Experience with Workday HCM modules
Daily Functions / Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their business processes, prioritize information needs, and translate business requirements into systems solutions.
- Document as-is and to-be business processes, business requirements and solution functional designs for the company’s software platforms.
- Perform hands-on configuration, unit testing and end-to-end testing in Workday
- Support User Acceptance Testing with business counterparts
- Exhibit flexibility in handling multiple tasks in the fast-paced IT environment.
- Process support tickets for applications, assist end users with access requests, troubleshoot and resolve system issues, and answer system questions
- Manage the security and business process admin inbox queues in Workday
- Monitor Workday integrations and troubleshoot issues when necessary
- Analyze Workday releases to understand the impact and manage process for required configuration updates
- Perform data analysis to test data accuracy, determine reporting requirements and build Workday reports for end users
- Comply with all SOX, GDPR, and other compliance and data privacy requirements.
