Job summary

SEAGUL INFOTECH in India is seeking a CCTV Technician / Fiber Splicing Technician to install, configure, test, and maintain surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR, IP cameras, and related equipment.

The role requires hands-on fiber splicing, OTDR testing, and basic networking, with travel to customer sites as needed. ITI or diploma and 1–5 years' experience preferred; opportunity to work on fiber, LAN, and security installations.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma or 12th pass with relevant technical experience.
• 1–5 years of CCTV installation and maintenance experience.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Hands-on fiber splicing experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and maintain CCTV cameras and DVR/NVR systems.
• Install and troubleshoot CAT6, LAN, power, and fiber cabling.
• Perform fiber optic splicing using a fusion splicing machine.
• Conduct site surveys and plan cable routing.
• Maintain documentation of installation and splicing work.
• Troubleshoot CCTV, NVR/DVR, PoE switch and networking issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and address customer complaints.

Job Title

CCTV Technician / Fiber Splicing Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR, IP cameras, and related surveillance systems.
• Installation and troubleshooting of CAT6, LAN, power, and fiber optic cabling.
• Perform fiber optic cable splicing using a fusion splicing machine.
• Fiber termination, OTDR testing, power meter testing, and fault identification.
• Troubleshoot CCTV camera, NVR/DVR, PoE switch, network, and connectivity issues.
• Configure IP cameras, NVRs, remote viewing, and basic networking.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare cable routing and installation requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance and resolve service complaints at customer sites.
• Maintain proper documentation of installation, service, and splicing work.

Required Skills

• 1–5 years of experience in CCTV installation and maintenance.
• Hands‑on experience with Fiber Optic Splicing / Fusion Splicing.
• Knowledge of IP CCTV, DVR/NVR, PoE Switches, CAT6, LAN, and basic networking.
• Ability to use fiber splicing machine, OTDR, and testing tools.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma / 12th Pass with relevant technical experience.

Preferred Candidate

CCTV Technician with practical experience in CCTV + Fiber Splicing + Networking.
