Job summary

RDS Digital is seeking a skilled CCTV & Biometric Technician in Bengaluru to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV, biometric attendance, and access control systems.

You will install cameras, DVR/NVRs, networking gear, biometric devices, and integrate systems with attendance software, while ensuring safety and adherence to specifications. Travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

ITI / Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related field.
1–4 years of experience in CCTV, biometric, access control, or security system installation.
Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.
Knowledge of basic computer networking is required.
Willingness to travel to client sites when required.

Responsibilities

Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, monitors, and networking equipment.
Install and maintain biometric attendance systems such as fingerprint and facial recognition devices.
Configure access control systems, door access systems, and related security devices.
Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CCTV and biometric systems.
Diagnose hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
Configure IP cameras, switches, routers, and basic networking equipment.
Manage user enrollment and access permissions in biometric systems.
Integrate biometric systems with attendance/payroll software when required.
Conduct site visits for installation, inspection, and technical support.
Maintain proper documentation of installations, equipment, and service activities.
Coordinate with clients and explain system usage and basic troubleshooting.
Respond to service requests and resolve technical issues within the required timeline.
Ensure all installations are completed safely and according to technical specifications.
