Job summary

Navkar Business Services in Mumbai is seeking a Surveillance Officer. The role requires a Graduate or Undergraduate with 6 months to 2 years of experience and a rotational 24x7 shift.

You will monitor live and recorded CCTV footage, identify suspicious activities, and report them to the manager promptly. Responsibilities include maintaining CCTV footage and incident records, ensuring data confidentiality, coordinating with security staff, drafting incident emails, and preparing daily and monthly

Qualifications

• Graduate or Undergraduate required.
• 6 months to 2 years of surveillance/security experience preferred.
• Experience with CCTV monitoring and incident reporting is desirable.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage and other surveillance systems to identify suspicious or unauthorized activities.
• Detect, observe, and promptly report suspicious, illegal, or unusual activities to the concerned manager/department.
• Record, preserve, and maintain CCTV footage and incident evidence for reporting and future reference.
• Ensure strict compliance with confidentiality and data protection policies while handling surveillance footage and information.
• Report security breaches, safety hazards, and other critical incidents to the reporting manager.
• Monitor the activities of security guards in real time and ensure proper deployment as required.
• Coordinate with security guards and assign them to incident locations during suspicious or emergency situations.
• Maintain and organize evidence folders and share relevant information with the concerned person/department.
• Draft and send incident-related emails to the concerned departments using the appropriate format and providing complete and accurate information.
• Attend corporate calls and prioritize surveillance-related tasks based on the urgency and severity of the situation.
• Maintain accurate and timely daily surveillance and security reports.
• Conduct regular monitoring and ensure completion of assigned property checks.
