Position Overview
We are looking for an alert, detail-oriented, and technically skilled CCTV Operator – GSOC / Corporate Security Operations to support global security monitoring operations. The role involves monitoring CCTV surveillance systems, identifying security risks, reporting incidents, maintaining surveillance records, and ensuring compliance with security guidelines across multiple locations.
The CCTV Operator will be part of the GSOC (Global Security Operations Center) team and coordinate with Security Managers, Team Leaders, and stakeholders to ensure effective surveillance, incident response, and operational security.

Key Responsibilities
GSOC & CCTV Monitoring Operations
- Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage across assigned locations through GSOC monitoring platforms.
- Ensure continuous surveillance as per defined SOPs, checklists, and operational requirements.
- Identify suspicious activities, security breaches, safety risks, and non-compliances.
- Escalate incidents to Team Leader, Security Manager, or relevant stakeholders on time.
- Support global security operations by maintaining high standards of vigilance and response.
Incident Management & Reporting
- Report security incidents, unusual activities, and policy violations with accurate details.
- Prepare incident reports, escalation updates, and security communication as per process.
- Review CCTV footage, capture images/videos, and support investigations whenever required.
- Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of surveillance information.
CCTV Technical Operations & Surveillance System Management
- Monitor and manage CCTV surveillance systems including IP Cameras, Analog Cameras, PTZ Cameras, NVR & DVR systems.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of CCTV-related issues including:
- Camera offline issues
- Video loss / recording failure
- Network connectivity issues
- Power supply and cabling issues
- Storage and recording-related problems
- Check daily health status of CCTV cameras, NVR/DVR systems, and monitoring devices.
- Maintain CCTV camera inventory, IP address lists, NVR details, and surveillance layouts.
- Support installation, configuration, and maintenance activities of CCTV systems.
- Coordinate with technical teams/vendors for preventive maintenance and issue resolution.
- Ensure proper recording availability, playback functionality, and footage retrieval.
- Manage video footage backup, storage, and retrieval as per security requirements.
Technical Knowledge Required:
- Understanding of CCTV camera installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of:
- IP addressing & networking fundamentals
- LAN connectivity for CCTV systems
- PoE switches and network devices
- Camera angle adjustment and coverage planning
- Video compression formats and storage management
- Remote CCTV monitoring applications
- Access control and integrated security systems
MIS Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily CCTV monitoring logs and surveillance reports.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports related to incidents and CCTV health status.
- Maintain non-compliance trackers and ensure timely closure.
- Update records of footage requests, investigations, and technical issues.
- Maintain camera mapping, layouts, and system documentation.
Security Compliance & Operations
- Ensure compliance with security SOPs, policies, and monitoring guidelines.
- Monitor assigned locations until completion of operational hours.
- Identify CCTV coverage gaps and highlight improvement requirements.
- Maintain organizational safety, confidentiality, and security standards.
Candidate Requirements
Education
- Diploma / Graduate degree in any discipline preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in CCTV Monitoring, GSOC, Security Operations, or Surveillance Control Room.
- Experience handling multiple CCTV cameras and security monitoring systems.
Technical Skills
- Hands-on knowledge of:
- CCTV Cameras (IP & Analog)
- NVR / DVR configuration and monitoring
- CCTV troubleshooting and maintenance
- Video playback and footage extraction
- Camera health monitoring
- Basic networking concepts
- Proficiency in MS Office and MIS reporting.
