Job summary

Rama Power & Steel in India seeks an experienced CCM operations leader to drive casting processes, monitor ladle, tundish, mould and cooling stages, and coordinate maintenance and manpower to deliver high billet quality.

The role requires hands-on CCM expertise with billets, blooms and slabs, plus strong knowledge of mould, tundish, SEN and cooling. RCA/CAPA will be performed to reduce defects and improve speed and yield.

Qualifications

• 8+ to 15+ years of experience in SMS/CCM operations.
• Hands-on experience with billets, blooms and slabs in CCM.
• Experience in commissioning and stabilization of CCM lines.
• Expertise in mould, tundish, SEN and cooling processes.
• Proven defect control and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead CCM operations, monitor casting parameters and process stages (ladle, tundish, mould, cooling).
• Ensure billet quality, reduce breakouts and defects, and coordinate maintenance and manpower.
• Drive improvements in casting speed, yield, productivity and overall quality.

Required Candidate profile
